What you'll do
- Reach out to people who have already requested information about life insurance to set a time to connect
- Hold phone or video appointments to understand each person's situation before discussing any coverage
- Walk through options that suit the client's circumstances and complete the application together during the call
- Track where each pending case stands with the carrier and keep clients informed while it is in review
- Log conversations and next steps in the CRM as they happen, not at the end of the day
- Work through ongoing product and carrier training as you build out your practice
Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- State life insurance license, or able to obtain one before making sales calls — The Wood Agency's onboarding plan targets licensing by the end of week two
- Comfortable holding phone and video appointments with clients you haven't met in person
- A reliable block of daytime hours available on a part-time basis most weekdays
- Dependable computer, phone, and internet connection at home
- Self-directed — you keep your own calendar moving without needing someone to prompt each step

Compensation
This is a 1099 independent contractor role with The Wood Agency. Compensation is commission-based. No salary or hourly pay is provided. Earnings depend on individual production. If that structure suits your situation, we'd welcome your application.
