Remote life insurance sales is what The Wood Agency is hiring for — a sales consultant to work with families who've already asked about coverage and help them apply. The position is 100% remote and suits people who manage financial conversations well, including those with experience in collections, credit counseling, or debt recovery.
What you'll do
- Follow up with individuals and families who've requested information on life insurance coverage
- Schedule and hold phone or video appointments to understand each client's situation before presenting any options
- Walk clients through coverage choices that fit their circumstances and complete the application together
- Move each case from submission through policy issue, keeping the client informed as it progresses
- Record calls, appointments, and case notes in the CRM as you go
- Stay current on carrier guidelines, state insurance regulations, and The Wood Agency's compliance standards
Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Comfortable managing structured outbound conversations by phone or video with people you haven't met before
- Consistent follow-up discipline — able to keep multiple open cases moving without losing track of details
- Computer, reliable internet connection, and a phone line available for client calls
- Holds a state life insurance license or is prepared to secure one before handling sales activity
- At ease navigating web-based tools for scheduling, carrier quoting, and client documentation

Compensation
