The Wood Agency is hiring remote sales consultants to work with clients who have already requested information about life insurance — discussing their situation, presenting suitable options, and completing applications together. The role is 100% remote, open in all 50 states, and suits experienced sellers who want to bring what they already know to a different product.
What you'll do
- Reach out to people who've already asked about life insurance and schedule remote appointments
- Hold phone or video calls to understand each client's full picture before presenting anything
- Use carrier quoting tools and e-apps to walk clients through coverage options and submit applications
- Log client records and case notes in the CRM as conversations happen
- Track pending applications to issued status and keep clients informed while they wait
- Stay current on products, carriers, and the state insurance regulations that govern this work
Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- A state life insurance license, or the ability to get licensed before making sales calls
- A track record of closing in a commission or variable-pay environment
- Comfortable managing client conversations by phone and video, without daily direction
- Able to navigate web-based platforms — quoting tools, e-apps, and a CRM
- Strong follow-up habits; cases and clients don't move without consistent attention

Compensation
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Compensation is commission-based. No salary or hourly pay is provided. Earnings depend on individual production.
