The Wood Agency is hiring bilingual sales agents — fluent in Spanish and English — to sell life insurance to Spanish-speaking families in a 100% remote role. The position is open in all 50 states and suits someone who can lead clear, careful conversations about coverage in both languages.
What you'll do
- Reach out to Spanish-speaking individuals and families who have already requested information about life insurance
- Hold remote appointments by phone or video in Spanish or English, based on the client's preference
- Ask questions to understand each family's situation and financial obligations before presenting any options
- Present coverage choices from The Wood Agency's 43 represented carriers and explain the differences plainly
- Complete applications with clients using carrier e-apps and quoting platforms
- Log conversations and next steps in the CRM as they happen
- Track each pending case through the carrier's review process and keep the client informed until the policy is issued
- Continue product, carrier, and sales training on an ongoing basis — not only during the first weeks
- Work within state insurance law, carrier guidelines, and The Wood Agency's compliance standards
Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Fluent in Spanish and English — able to explain policy terms clearly in both, not just translate
- Holds a state life insurance license, or prepared to complete licensing requirements before making sales calls
- Comfortable working fully remote with a personal computer, phone, and reliable internet connection
- At ease with web-based tools — carrier e-apps, CRM entry, and video or phone-based appointments
- Independent enough to build a pipeline and work it consistently without daily direction
- Background in a commission-based or quota-driven role, any industry, where closing and follow-up were core parts of the job
- Comfortable asking questions about sensitive topics — health history, debts, dependents — and listening carefully before presenting anything
- Disciplined and self-directed — this role has no micromanagement and no salary floor
What we provide
- Contracts with 43 carriers, so you can offer Spanish-speaking families options that genuinely fit their situation rather than the nearest available product
- An exclusive lead system is available for sourcing clients who have already expressed interest in coverage
- Weekly team calls, scripts, call reviews, ride-alongs, and 1:1 mentorship are available to agents who want them
- A fully remote model that has operated across all 50 states for five years — support from The Wood Agency extends through the claims process, not just to the point of sale
