Work-From-Home Sales Consultant — Security and Alarm Sales Pros Welcome

The Wood Agency is hiring remote sales consultants in the Frederick, MD area to speak with people who have already asked about life insurance coverage, understand what fits their situation, and guide each application through to an issued policy. This is a fully remote, work-from-home position open to candidates in Frederick, MD. The role may suit people from security or alarm sales who already know how to explain an unfamiliar product clearly and close a conversation without pressure.

What you'll do

• Reach out to people who've already expressed interest in life insurance and schedule a time to talk
• Ask the right questions to understand each person's situation before presenting anything
• Walk through suitable coverage options and complete the application together — by phone or video, fully remote
• Track pending cases through the carrier review process and keep each client informed while it moves
• Log conversations, follow-up steps, and case notes in the agency CRM as they happen
• Keep current on product updates, carrier guidelines, and applicable state insurance regulations

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Comfortable managing all client conversations by phone and video — no field visits
• Able to learn web-based quoting tools and CRM platforms; training is available
• Disciplined about follow-through without needing daily direction from a manager
• Holds a state life insurance license, or prepared to complete licensing before making sales calls
• Experienced with commission-based, variable-income work

Compensation
