What you'll do
- Reach out to people who've already asked about life insurance to schedule a remote coverage review
- Open each appointment by learning about a client's situation before presenting any options
- Walk clients through policy choices that fit their needs and complete the application together
- Follow each pending case through the carrier's review process and keep the client informed along the way
- Log contacts, notes, and follow-ups in a web-based CRM throughout your day
- Stay current on products and carrier guidelines through ongoing training available to agents
Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- A state life insurance license is required before making sales calls; if you don't yet hold one, the team can explain what the process looks like in your state
- Comfortable running full client conversations by phone or video — all client work is remote
- Able to manage your own schedule: setting appointments, following up, and tracking your pipeline without daily direction
- Used to holding yourself and others accountable to results, even without someone watching
- A computer, reliable internet connection, and a phone

Compensation
This is a 1099 independent contractor role with The Wood Agency. Compensation is commission-based. No salary or hourly pay is provided. Earnings depend on individual production. If that structure suits how you want to work, we'd like to hear from you.
