Remote Sales Consultant — Home Improvement Sales Pros Welcome

The Wood Agency is recruiting remote sales consultants in Kennebunkport, ME to sell life insurance from home. This is a 100% remote, work-from-home position open to candidates in Kennebunkport, ME. The role may suit commission-based sellers used to closing deals and seeking flexible, year-round income.

What you'll do

• Call and schedule video or phone appointments with people who've already requested information about life insurance coverage
• Ask the right questions to understand each family's situation before presenting any options
• Walk through coverage choices and complete the application together, using carrier quoting and e-app tools
• Stay with each case after submission — tracking status with the carrier and keeping the client informed through to policy issue
• Log calls, appointments, and notes in the CRM as you go
• Keep current on carrier guidelines, product details, and compliance standards through ongoing training — not a one-time onboarding

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• A state life insurance license, or a clear plan to obtain one before making sales calls
• Comfortable running consultations by phone or video — no in-person visits
• Reliable computer, phone, and internet connection
• Able to manage your own schedule and follow up consistently without close supervision
• At ease with web-based tools — quoting platforms, e-apps, and a CRM

Compensation
