Remote Sales Consultant — Freelancers and Self-Employed Pros Welcome

Selling life insurance from home suits self-managed professionals. The Wood Agency is filling a 100% remote sales consultant role in Wheat Ridge, CO and all 50 states. This is a remote, work-from-home position open to candidates in Wheat Ridge, CO.

What you'll do

• Connect by phone or video with individuals and families who have already asked about life insurance
• Ask enough questions to understand each person's situation before presenting any coverage options
• Walk through policy options from a panel of 43 carriers and help the client complete and submit an application
• Track each case to policy issue and keep the client informed while it is pending
• Log conversations and activity in the CRM as they happen; stay current on product, carrier, and state compliance requirements

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Comfortable having focused conversations by phone and video — asking questions, listening, and explaining clearly
• A state life insurance license, or the ability to obtain one before taking client calls
• Reliable computer, phone, and internet connection suitable for video calls and web-based carrier platforms
• Disciplined follow-through when tracking several pending cases at once
• Comfortable working as an independent contractor with variable, commission-based pay

Compensation

This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity. Compensation is commission-based. No salary or hourly pay is provided. Earnings depend on individual production. Candidates who are comfortable with independent work and variable pay are welcome to apply.
