Remote Sales Agent — Former Shift Workers Welcome

The Wood Agency is hiring remote life insurance sales agents in State College, PA to help families review coverage options and apply for policies. This is a remote, work-from-home position. The role suits people stepping out of shift-based work who want flexibility over when they work.

What you'll do

• Reach out to people who have already expressed interest in life insurance to schedule a remote conversation
• Take time to understand each client's situation before presenting any coverage options
• Walk through suitable policies from The Wood Agency's network of 43 carriers and complete the application with the client
• Keep clients informed while their case moves through the carrier review process toward a decision
• Log calls, notes, and appointments in a web-based CRM as you go
• Stay current through ongoing product and carrier training as it becomes available

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• A state life insurance license, or the ability to obtain one before your first client conversation — the onboarding plan targets licensure within the first two weeks
• Comfortable holding phone and video calls and navigating basic web-based tools
• Self-directed: you set your own calendar and follow through without daily check-ins
• A computer, a phone, and a reliable internet connection
• Consistent follow-up habits — pending cases and clients both need timely attention

Compensation
