Part-Time Remote Sales Agent — Evenings and Weekends

The Wood Agency is hiring part-time, remote life insurance sales agents in Orwell, VT to review coverage needs with families and walk them through applying for a policy. This is a remote, work-from-home position open to candidates in Orwell, VT, with flexible evening and weekend hours that may suit someone trying commission-based sales work.

What you'll do

• Reach people who have already asked for information about coverage and set up remote appointments during evening and weekend hours
• Learn each family's situation — income, dependents, concerns — before presenting any options
• Complete applications together with clients using the carrier's quoting and e-app systems
• Track pending cases through the carrier review process and keep each family updated until a policy is issued
• Log calls, notes, and follow-ups in the CRM as you go
• Work within your state's insurance requirements and The Wood Agency's compliance standards on every case

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• A state life insurance license, or the ability to get licensed before your first client sale
• Comfortable holding phone and video appointments and explaining policy details in plain language
• Reliable internet, a computer, and a phone
• Consistent evening or weekend hours you can protect each week
• Self-directed follow-through — this work runs on your own schedule, not someone else's tracking

• An exclusive lead system is available to agents (leads are the agent's own expense to arrange)
• Weekly team calls, scripts, and call review sessions are available to join
• 1:1 mentorship and ride-alongs are available through Ben and Andrea, who run the agency

Compensation
