This is for the career-changer who wants work that actually means something. The Stratton Life Group runs 100% remote — 1099, commission-based — helping older adults secure final expense coverage before a crisis forces their family's hand.

What you'll actually do

  • Follow up with people who've already raised their hand asking about final expense coverage
  • Schedule and hold phone or video calls — no office, no commute, your home setup works
  • Take time to understand each person's health situation and what they can realistically afford
  • Walk through options from multiple carriers and help them choose what fits, not what's easiest to sell
  • Submit the application together and stay with the case through the underwriting process

Who this is a fit for

  • Former teachers, healthcare workers, or retail veterans — anyone used to reading a room and adjusting on the fly
  • Someone who doesn't hold a life insurance license yet but is serious about obtaining one before selling
  • Self-starters who can build and stick to their own daily structure without someone checking in hourly
  • People who follow up because they care, not because a manager told them to
  • Comfortable on a call — not scripted, but prepared and genuinely curious about the person on the other end

What we provide

  • A 1:1 mentor available as you get licensed and start your first cases
  • Scripts and call reviews you can tap into while you're still finding your footing
  • Direct appointments with A+-rated carriers — no captive arrangement, no non-compete holding you back
  • Underwriting advocacy if a case hits a snag during review
  • No production quota — The Stratton Life Group doesn't measure your worth by last month's numbers

The honest part

Your pay is commission-based 1099 — there's no salary cushioning a slow stretch, and the first few months take real patience. If you're mid-career-change and still need a steady paycheck while finding your rhythm, this deserves an honest look before you leap. If you're ready to get licensed and do the work, reach out to The Stratton Life Group and let's have a straight conversation about whether this is the right move for you.
