Mortgage Protection Life Insurance Agent – Remote

The Stratton Life Group is hiring mortgage protection life insurance sales agents in San Luis Obispo, CA to help homeowners protect their families' homes. This is a 100% remote, work-from-home position. We work with leads from homeowners who requested mortgage protection information, and we provide training on products, sales process, and carrier tools.

What you'll do

• Contact homeowners who asked about protecting their mortgage
• Hold phone or video meetings to understand the family's needs
• Explain mortgage protection options in plain, simple language
• Compare plans across 30+ carriers to find the right fit
• Submit applications with clients and guide them through underwriting
• Stay in touch with clients as their needs change over time

Qualifications

• People who care about helping families feel secure
• Good listeners who ask questions before giving answers
• Organized people who can manage several open cases at once
• Licensed agents, or people ready to get licensed — we help with that
• U.S. citizen and at least 18 years old

Compensation

This is a 1099 independent contractor role. Pay is commission-based. There is no salary or base pay. Earnings depend on individual production.
