Some licensed agents build a book and stop there. Others want to grow something bigger — mentor newer reps, help shape how a team works, and still run their own remote sales practice. If that second path interests you, The Freidin Agency is worth a look.

What you'll actually do

  • Sell life insurance to warm leads who asked to be contacted, working remotely, paid through commission on a 1099 basis
  • Reach out to those leads, schedule remote meetings, and hold coverage conversations by phone or video
  • Learn what each family actually needs before suggesting anything — The Freidin Agency was built on putting the client before the commission
  • Match clients to options across 30 carrier relationships and complete applications together in the carrier's own e-app and quoting tools
  • Track cases from application through to issued policy, keeping clients in the loop while underwriting runs its course
  • Log every conversation and follow-up in the CRM as you go — not at the end of the week
  • Mentor newer agents by joining ride-alongs and call reviews, sharing what's working in your own practice
  • Stay current on products, carriers and compliance through ongoing training — not a one-week onboarding and done

Who this is a fit for

  • An active licensed life insurance producer who wants to do more than manage their own book
  • Someone comfortable navigating carrier e-apps and a CRM without needing step-by-step guidance
  • A person who can explain a policy clearly to a 35-year-old homeowner and a 68-year-old retiree in the same afternoon
  • Organized enough to run your own pipeline and still make time to support someone newer
  • At ease with video and phone as your main work tools — all day, every day
  • Self-directed: you set your schedule, you own your follow-through, and you don't need a manager to tell you to call back
  • Someone who genuinely believes the client's situation should drive the recommendation — not the payout

What we provide

  • Access to 30 carriers licensed across all 50 states — enough range to find the right fit for most client situations
  • CRM access, scripts and call reviews available to support your own sales practice
  • Weekly team call and 1:1 mentorship available through the agent community
  • Case design help available when a situation needs a second perspective

The honest part

This is commission-based 1099 work — no base salary and no guaranteed income. Your pay comes entirely from your own insurance sales to clients, full stop; it does not come from anyone you mentor or bring into the agency. If a predictable paycheck is what you need right now, this isn't the right fit. If you're a licensed agent who wants to sell well, serve clients honestly, and help shape a small team doing the same, The Freidin Agency is a straightforward place to apply.
