Shipley Legacy Group is hiring remote sales representatives to help individuals and families review life insurance options and apply for coverage. This is a 100% remote, commission-based 1099 role suited to career changers and driven people ready to do focused, purposeful work from home.
What you'll do
- Reach out to people who have already requested information about life insurance coverage
- Schedule and hold remote appointments by phone or video to understand each family's situation
- Walk clients through their coverage options and help them complete an application together
- Submit applications through carrier e-app and quoting systems and track each case to policy issue
- Keep clients informed while their application is pending with the carrier
- Log every conversation and follow-up in the CRM as the work happens
- Stay current through ongoing product, carrier, and sales training available to Shipley Legacy Group agents
- Work within state insurance law, carrier guidelines, and agency compliance standards
Qualifications
- A state life insurance license, or readiness to earn one before making sales — Shipley Legacy Group can point you toward licensing resources
- Comfortable handling conversations by phone and video — that's how this work gets done
- Able to navigate web-based carrier systems and a CRM without hand-holding
- Reliable follow-through from first contact through a closed case
- A computer, phone, and dependable internet connection
- No prior insurance background required — a willingness to learn the work is what matters

Compensation
