Remote Sales Consultant — Auto, Solar & B2B Sales Pros

Shipley Legacy Group is hiring remote life insurance sales agents in South Kingstown, RI from people already working on commission — automotive, solar, staffing, B2B inside sales, and similar fields. This is a remote, work-from-home position. If you close deals and live on variable pay, the mechanics will feel familiar.

What you'll do

• Reach out to people who have already asked for information about life insurance — no hunting for names from scratch
• Schedule and run coverage conversations by phone or video, learning each person's situation before presenting any options
• Walk clients through policy choices and complete applications together using carrier e-app platforms
• Log activity, conversations, and case updates in the agency CRM as they happen
• Follow each pending case through the carrier's review process and keep clients informed until coverage is issued
• Stay current on carrier guidelines and state insurance regulations as part of the ongoing work

Qualifications

• Active commission-based sales background — car sales, solar, staffing, B2B, or a comparable field
• Comfortable holding scheduled phone and video calls with clients you have never met in person
• Able to navigate web-based tools: carrier quoting systems, e-app portals, and a CRM
• Disciplined follow-through on open cases without day-to-day supervision
• Active state life insurance license, or prepared to obtain one before selling

Compensation
