Brookings, SD has a strong professional community — and Shipley Legacy Group, a 17-agent remote team built by two people who started this work after losing close family members, is looking for a licensed agent ready to lead. This is a remote, work-from-home position serving the Brookings area. This is 100% remote, commission-based 1099 work.

What you'll actually do

• Contact prospective clients and hold conversations about final expense and term life coverage needs
• Explain available policy options clearly and help clients complete their applications
• Follow submitted cases through underwriting and advocate when a file needs attention
• Mentor newer agents — share what works, join call reviews, and give honest feedback
• Contribute to the weekly team call and help shape a team culture built on straight talk
