Role: Life Insurance Sales Agent
Hays, KS is home to medical professionals, educators, and business leaders who understand the value of protecting what matters most. This is a 100% remote, work-from-home position serving the Hays area and beyond. For sales professionals ready to lead, not just sell, this is a commission-based 1099 opportunity to build your own life insurance agency, serve real families, and leave something behind worth keeping.
What you'll actually do
- Contact prospective clients, schedule coverage conversations, and listen for what they actually need
- Explain life insurance options clearly and help clients complete their applications
- Follow cases through underwriting and stay in your clients' corner
- Build and mentor your own remote team of licensed agents
- Run coaching sessions and help your team sharpen their skills
- Your pay comes from your own insurance sales to clients — that's the foundation everything else is built on
Who this is a fit for
- Someone with 1–3 years of sales experience who's ready to own more of the outcome
- Coachable — you want honest feedback, not just encouragement
- Goal-oriented and resilient; you don't quit when it gets uncomfortable
- A natural communicator who builds trust without pressure tactics
- U.S.-based and legally authorized to work in the United States
- Licensed in life insurance or serious about obtaining your license before selling
