Colton Mims, Owner & Agent, is looking for people new to insurance who want a fully work-from-home setup and real support available while they build their practice.
What you'll do
- Connect with individuals who have already asked for life insurance information — no cold outreach to strangers
- Schedule and hold coverage conversations by phone or video, entirely from home
- Ask questions to understand each person's situation before discussing any product or price
- Walk through options and help clients complete an application using the carrier's online platform
- Log each conversation and next steps in the CRM as you go
- Track a pending application through the carrier's review and keep each client informed while it's in process
Qualifications
- A current state life insurance license — or a clear plan to earn one before you begin selling
- Comfortable on the phone and by video; able to explain things in plain language
- Able to navigate web-based tools — carrier portals, quoting systems, and a CRM — with minimal hand-holding
- Self-directed follow-through: you manage your own pending cases without needing a prompt
- Patient and honest — this work starts with listening, not pitching

Compensation
This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity with Mims Financial Services. Compensation is commission-based. No salary or hourly pay is provided. Earnings depend on individual production. If that structure fits how you want to work, we'd welcome your application.
