Remote Sales Agent — Proven Sellers Welcome

Mims Financial Services, based in Waubay, SD, is hiring remote life insurance sales agents. This is a 100% remote, work-from-home position open to candidates in Waubay, SD and beyond. Owner Colton Mims seeks commission-based sellers from real estate, automotive, lending, or home services who want an independent setup with direct carrier appointments.

What you'll do

• Connect with people who've already asked about life insurance and set up a remote appointment
• Open each conversation by learning the client's situation before presenting any coverage options
• Walk through policy options together and help the client complete an application when they're ready
• Use carrier e-app and quoting platforms to submit and track applications
• Follow each pending case to policy issue, keeping the client informed as it moves through carrier review
• Log calls and updates in a CRM; keep current on products, carrier rules, and state regulations through ongoing training

Qualifications

• A background in commission-based sales — automotive, real estate, lending, home services, or similar
• Comfortable running client conversations over phone or video from a home setup
• Able to manage a sales pipeline independently and follow through consistently on each case
• A computer, reliable internet, and a dedicated phone for client work
• A state life insurance license — or a clear plan to complete licensing before your first sale

Compensation
