Remote Sales Representative — Remote Work Professionals

Our Team is hiring candidates in Wauconda for remote life insurance sales. Bring your experience communicating from a home office to organized phone and video conversations about life insurance.

What you'll do

• Sell life insurance remotely as a commission-based 1099 independent contractor.
• Help clients consider life insurance in light of their household needs and existing coverage.
• Initiate contact with prospective clients and arrange phone or video conversations.
• Listen to each household before discussing coverage, costs, and policy limitations.
• Set clear next steps at the end of each phone or video conversation.
• Protect client information and maintain accurate records while working remotely.
• Help clients complete accurate applications and follow their cases through underwriting.

Qualifications

• Experience managing remote conversations, appointments, or follow-up without in-person supervision.
• Able to discuss workspace, technology, licensing, and agency expectations before starting insurance sales.
• Hold the required state life insurance license before selling coverage.
• Communicate clearly by phone and video, including when a client decides against buying.
• Organize appointments, client notes, and outstanding follow-up without constant supervision.
• Understand that sales activity and completed applications do not promise a particular income.

Compensation

This is 1099 independent contractor work with commission-based pay. No salary or hourly pay is provided. Earnings depend on individual production.
