Remote Sales Representative — Career Changers

In Chula Vista, CA, Our Team is hiring for remote final expense life insurance sales. Build a new line of work around careful listening, clear explanations, and following through with families.

What you'll do

• Sell life insurance remotely as a commission-based 1099 independent contractor.
• Help clients consider coverage for funeral costs and other expenses left to their families.
• Initiate contact with prospective clients and arrange phone or video conversations.
• Listen to each household before discussing coverage, costs, and policy limitations.
• Explain coverage in everyday language, checking that the client understands the choices.
• Keep track of questions you need answered before moving an application forward.
• Help clients complete accurate applications and follow their cases through underwriting.

Qualifications

• Ready to learn insurance terminology and explain it without jargon.
• Able to make time for licensing before conducting insurance sales.
• Hold the required state life insurance license before selling coverage.
• Communicate clearly by phone and video, including when a client decides against buying.
• Organize appointments, client notes, and outstanding follow-up without constant supervision.
• Understand that sales activity and completed applications do not promise a particular income.

Compensation

This is 1099 independent contractor work with commission-based pay. No salary or hourly pay is provided. Earnings depend on individual production.
