At-Home Sales Representative — Licensed Agents

Our Team is hiring remote sales representatives to help individuals and families review life insurance options and apply for coverage. This is a remote, work-from-home position open to candidates in Imperial Beach, CA. The role is designed for licensed agents seeking a flexible, independent schedule to build their own client base.

What you'll do

• Identify prospective clients and set up phone or video appointments to walk through their coverage needs and goals
• Before presenting any options, gather a clear picture of the client's household situation, existing coverage, and financial priorities
• Explain appropriate life insurance solutions plainly — including where a product fits and where it doesn't
• Work through applications side by side with clients using carrier e-app portals and online quoting platforms
• Submit completed applications and follow each case through underwriting until the policy is issued
• Keep clients informed at each step while their application is pending — from submission through delivery
• Log all activity, conversations, and follow-up commitments in the CRM as they happen
• Stay current on carrier guidelines, product updates, and continuing-education requirements for your licensed states
• Conduct all work fully remotely, within your active license authority, carrier rules, and applicable state insurance regulations

Qualifications

• Active state life insurance license in good standing
• Prior experience in a consultative or needs-based sales role
• Comfortable navigating carrier quoting tools, e-application platforms, and web-based CRM systems
• Reliable computer, phone, and internet connection suited to remote client work
• Disciplined follow-through — able to track and move forward multiple open cases at the same time
• Can explain policy terms and coverage trade-offs clearly, without falling back on industry shorthand
• Self-directed day to day and accustomed to working without in-office oversight
• At ease with variable, commission-based income as an independent contractor

Compensation

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Compensation is commission-based — no salary or hourly pay is provided. Earnings depend on individual production. Licensed agents who prefer an independent, remote structure are encouraged to apply.
